Persian rugs ♥

Persian rugs, 8th century AD.
Were once used for merely only one purpose ' Prayer matts '. Handmade from materials such as fine silks, wools and cotton. Later centuries started selling and using them for international trading.
Today, persian rugs are used in fine interiors. Looks beautiful with modern furniture and with certain random pieces (refer to photo for example).Used as runners really set off a boring hallway.
My favourite; Persian with a Black leather lounge suite.

New found Love ♥

A website I discovered in the pages of Belle.

They have free-standing fake animals (stags, dears, owls ) and moose heads and other wall pieces to display around the home.
I also think these would be a bit of fun displayed in a retail interior.

$40 dollars and $5 dollar shipping.

Only downfall, the fake animals are very small, standing on just under 30cms and 20ish cm in length.

Love this piece.
A mixture of oriental inspired wall unit,
the gothic roof light fitting....
and to set it all off, the Baroque inspired Louis XVI armchair.
The yellow mixes well, as it brightens up the room with the black dominating pieces.
Little bit of Decorating i did for my folio.
( Which i didnt need to do, in the end )

Savers green teapot - $2.50
Pink Owl Money box - Typo
B O N letters - Typo 3 for $10

Cork pin board -
full of photos and magazine cut outs.

Also practical - Holding jewel, hair bows and a Dream catcher.

B O N letters - eye catcher.

Magazine rack -
used for shoe and purse holder. Neatly folded sweaters and Hat placed on top.

Shoes on bottom shelf - for easy access !
